The Process
    The Process

Software development isn't just the Waterfall Method.  It takes an integrated team working along a common path toward a series of shared goals.
    Agile Development

By breaking a product into pieces, a project can be expressed in short sprints that each represent an increment that is itself useful.
    Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)

Starting with a waterfall and adding concepts from the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK®), the lifecycle of a software project is expressed as interlocking processes that join together to form a cohesive whole.

These pieces each have a lifecycle of their own that can benefit from traditional software development lifecycles as well as the still relatively new Agile Development Methodology.

    Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI)

An orgnization, through conscience effort or by stumbling along, grows in maturity by adopting processes which allow repeatability, Definion, management and optimizing activities.

As an organization matures, so does its ability to product higher quality products, more quickly and more easily.
