Bored and wanting attention, Izzy breaks into neighbors’ apartments. He doesn’t steal anything, he just plays with their stuff. His behavior escalates until he gets caught.
Not a great movie.
A disappointing Jamie Lee Curtis movie, Virus is an alien invasion movie where a space station gets hit by an alien presence which gets channeled to a tracking ship on the ocean eradicating the crew.
A tug comes upon the research ship and claims it as a derelict but come under attack by the alien.
Another JK Rowling movie, this one takes place years before Harry Potter but is in the same UK/Magical universe.
Newt Scamander comes to America with a satchel of magical creatures to purchase yet another. In a mix-up, his case gets switched with a muggle’s and the mayhem begins when the creatures get loose in New York.
Beasts is a good movie but lacks the charm of the Harry Potter series.
As you would expect from a David DeCoteau film, this is more about scantily clad twinks than the revenge of a brutal murder.
The story and acting is average in this movie and it lives up to expectations.
A girl is murdered by a group of guys and her twin brother seeks them out and kills them one by one.
OK, Plex thinks this is a comedy, IMDB says it’s a drama. I go with drama.
This is a short about a boy with dyslexia that was diagnosed until his mother does some research and helps him through it.
I think the score is a bit high for this after-school-special-type show.
Aliens visit Earth asking for our help. But some suspicious humans wonder what they really want.
This is clearly a TV movie, the acting is just OK and the plot is pretty standard. It serves as a pilot for a two-season series the I’ve yet to watch. I disagree with the ratings, I’d give it a 5/10.
To give you an idea of how far behind I am in my reading, I just finished this book and I bought it in 2007.
This is another book in The Adept series and was a bit disappointing. It had the typical action, but there was a subplot that just went nowhere. The main plot was OK, but just wasn’t great. And there was no Masonic tie-in in this book which I like to see.
The Scooby gang go after some black Buddhists (essentially) and try to find how a Nazi submarine flag fits into the death of a dead man.
I don’t know what I was expecting, but this wasn’t it. It’s a little to juvenile for my tastes.
Pete is thrown clear of the car accident that killed his parents and is left along in the woods to befriend a dragon that he calls Elliot.
He is later discovered by a park ranger and she and her husband bring him home.
